About

Owning art is a very personal experience. We choose art because it speaks to us. Often, however, the act of buying art can be very impersonal and stressful. Summit Fine Art was founded on the belief that buying art should be a meaningful and enjoyable experience.

When returning home from a museum exhibition or an art auction, I ask myself which artist or work of art do I remember - which piece comes to mind first. This is the art that I am drawn to. This will be different for all of us and that is why it is important to visit museums and other quality art events to view a broad range of art and educate our eye for art. Each of us needs to find the art that we enjoy.

I define good art as something that you will enjoy for a very long time.  It is not about the name of the artist, subject matter, size or price. It is all about what makes your life better. Patience in buying art will serve you well.

We represent a very small and select group of artists. While they are diverse in technique and subject matter, they are consistent in their ability to create exceptional works of art. We believe that each artist we represent is an important artist.  Our clients can be confident that the art they purchase from Summit Fine Art is of the highest quality.

While Summit utilizes technology and new media, direct, personal interaction with our clients is encouraged and valued.  We look forward to working with those that have an interest in acquiring art that will enhance their life.
